Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC) is a flagship initiative by FSSAI aimed at raising food safety standards across India. Under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, it is mandatory for licensed food businesses to have at least one trained and certified Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) for every 25 food handlers at each premises.

FoSTaC training helps businesses comply with regulations, prevent foodborne illnesses, and build a stronger food safety culture.
